A B.C. drone company with a new Kamloops base says one of its battery-powered heavy-lift drones delivered more than 1 million tree seedlings across Western Canada this year.
Stinson Aerial Services said the drone moved about 3,300 boxes of seedlings from staging areas to planters working on commercial reforestation projects in B.C. and Alberta, as well as wildfire rehabilitation planting in the Northwest Territories.
