Stinson Aerial Services Inc. partnered with New Ventures BC
Stinson Aerial Services Inc. partnered with New Ventures BC to sponsor summer students and provide industrial and entrepreneurship opportunities in furthering the development of the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) aka drone aerial solutions.
As part of the internship, two students participated in Transport Canada approved RPAS Commercial Ground School and Flight Review becoming two of the youngest Advanced Pilots in Canada.
As part of their flight training, the young gentlemen travelled to various parts of Vancouver Island to participate in Stinson Aerial RPAS flight training operations in Forestry, Real Estate Development, Namgis (Nimpkish) Fish Hatchery 3D Modelling. This provided industrial experience outside of urban settings which challenged the students to expand their RPAS capabilities and skills, problem-solving, teamwork and some laughs.
