Stinson Aerial Services is a Proud Sponsor of the 2026 BC First Nations Forestry Conference
We are thrilled to announce that Stinson Aerial Services Inc. is returning as a sponsor of the BC First Nations Forestry Conference — this year as a Roots & Relations Ally — at the Forest Nations Rising: From Strong Roots to Global Horizons conference taking place May 12–14, 2026, at the Kelowna Flight Centre for Excellence.
This year’s conference brings together First Nations leaders, industry partners, and communities from across BC and beyond to explore the future of Nation-led forestry. The theme, “From Strong Roots to Global Horizons,” reflects a vision we at Stinson deeply respect — one that builds on strong relationships and practical expertise to create lasting opportunities.
Our connection with the BC First Nations Forestry Council goes back several years. We’ve been honoured to participate in their career days, exhibit and attend past conferences, including the event in Penticton, and contribute as speakers sharing how aerial services and drone technology intersect with modern forestry practice.
This year, we’re especially excited to participate in the Youth Conference, which will be held on May 14th alongside the main event. We’ll be on the floor with live drone demonstrations, giving high school students a hands-on look at how UAV technology is being used in forestry, land management, and environmental monitoring. Connecting young people — especially Indigenous youth — with the career possibilities in this space is something we’re passionate about.
With the larger Kelowna venue allowing for a full expo-style format, this promises to be the most dynamic conference yet. We look forward to connecting with Nations representatives, industry partners, and the next generation of forestry professionals.
We’ll see you in Kelowna this May!
