Stinson Aerial at the Sqyeytn (salmon) Festival – Sept 20–21, Merritt, BC

Stinson Aerial Services Inc. is honoured to join the inaugural Sqyeytn (salmon) Festival on September 20–21, 2025 at the Shulus Arbor on Lower Nicola Indian Band land in Merritt, BC. The festival celebrates Nlaka’pamux traditional foods—especially salmon—and brings community together for games, cultural activities, demonstrations, and an evening feast open to all.

We’ll be on site with an information booth and hands-on learning: tent, signage, and materials highlighting our watershed and salmon-recovery work, including overview flights, mapping tools (such as ortho and LiDAR products), and redd observation projects. We’re also bringing a micro-drone for a safe, kid-friendly flight experience in a designated area.

This is a great opportunity to connect, share knowledge, learn about culture, and support education and relationship-building in the Nicola. All are welcome—come say hello and visit our booth.

Dates: September 20–21, 2025
Location: Shulus Arbor, Lower Nicola Indian Band land, Merritt, BC
